Lady, give it a rest. 5 posts in a row? Really that bored? |
No. They are correct and you are defensive, it’s fun to watch. |
Oops! Your insecurity is showing. |
NP I’ve never uttered those words. And I usually only drink on special occasions or if out for dinner (maybe twice a month?). Rarely if ever otherwise. I’m lucky if I have 4 drinks a month. And I agree with PP. The teetotalers are not fun at all. I’ll take a mimosa party any day. |
Can we all just admit that we have different ideas of fun? For someone who does not drink I have fun and enjoy life but, without drinking. It is possible although you don't believe it. What I don't understand is the insults thrown at people who do not drink..."stick up your butt" and "not fun" if you are so secure in what you are doing than why the need for the childish insults? Btw, had I been invited to this party I would not have drunk anything but, then I probably wouldn't have said anything either. |
I will agree with you if you can at least concede that people who serve mimosas at a kids party and those who enjoy said party should not be labeled as having a drinking problem. That’s where the defensiveness comes from. |
+1. I don't give a fig if someone doesn't drink, but the non drinkers coming on here to say you have to be an alcoholic who "can't go 2 hrs without a drink" need to simmer down. It's an option, not a command. |
Well that person is also calling everyone ugly. What do you have to say about that? The non drinker is coming off as very angry and spamming this thread with their non stop opinions about drinkers. Totally weird. |
Y'all are so dramatic. |
See, most parents just think of drinking alcohol. That's not life
They don't have control of themselves, not strong enough |
After alcohol is weed, tobacco, drugs. What other addictions you are teaching to your children? |
Nah. Just cutting this uptight biddy down to size. Size 18-22, probably, since she’s the one insisting on “a substantial and appealing brunch spread.” |
We went straight to crack. Why even bother with the lighter stuff? I always tell my kids - aim high! |
Oh, sweetie. You are speaking to multiple people. As for me, I’m a six-day-a-week runner cyclist and a muscular size 6. But your asinine “size 18-22” comment just further revealed your immaturity and insecurity. You just can’t help yourself. It’s sad really. |
I certainly hope not, criticizing your host’s offering would be dreadfully rude. |
