By not living near water? I am not near any bodies of water and have never seen an alligator in my area (of course they exist, in swamps/marshes/bodies of water, but I don't live on one).

I've been here 9 years and alligators are just about at the bottom of things I think about.

Why did this PP leave out Pasco and Polk county?

Because they are among the fastest growing counties in the nation.

Where are they going? We probably will move eventually but I actually have loved where I live. Just ready for something new in older age.

Speaking as a Canadian, the snowbirds are selling and moving to Mexico, the Caribbean, and southern Europe. Snowbirds are a significant part of the Florida real estate market.

YOU are the idiot. We don't all live on the beach or in a swamp! Topography varies throughout the state. You clearly have no actual clue.

I was just on an international flight coming back to the US and for some reason there was a large group of Australians who were emigrating to the US. Both families waiting near me to board were bound for FL. I guess they are used to all the hazardous ways to die anyway.
