By not living near water? I am not near any bodies of water and have never seen an alligator in my area (of course they exist, in swamps/marshes/bodies of water, but I don't live on one). I've been here 9 years and alligators are just about at the bottom of things I think about. |

| I was just on an international flight coming back to the US and for some reason there was a large group of Australians who were emigrating to the US. Both families waiting near me to board were bound for FL. I guess they are used to all the hazardous ways to die anyway. |
