I have already said this in the thread, but it’s clear that the GOP knew what they were planning, but they thought it would go faster. All the non-fascist Capitol Police who repelled the insurrectionists did their part to ensure the continued existence of the GOP.

No. But the fact that Trump knew about armed protesters and wanted to facilitate their attack on the Capitol did.

Probably. It's known that Hutchinson received threats, so intimidation probably hastened her testimony. Or maybe she didn't want to testify publicly, but intimidation made her change her mind.

He is a sociopath. He has no sense of conscience. He was okay with weapons being brought into the Capitol which could injure or kill lawmakers, LEOs, staff, etc.--presumably even people on his side of the aisle. In his mind, everything and everyone exists to be in service to him--he is not capable of caring about anyone outside of himself.

How can anyone believe that this person cares about the US and the American people? How can anyone even consider putting control of this nation back in his hands?

Was she actually there for any of this? From what I’m watching and hearing, she witnessed nothing personally and/or heard from someone else. Given this happened the way she said it did, why can’t the committee get first hand witnesses to testify?
