Are you letting your 10-12 y.o. see it?
yes. She has read all 3 books already.
yes my 11 and 13 yos are going tomorrow. Both have read the book (multiple times!!)
Reluctantly... we've both read and discussed the books. I will be going with her though.
DD just got home a couple of hours ago and said it was great. She saw the midnight show and is going in to school late. Aren't I a nice mom?
Trying too hard to be your kid's friend is more like it. |
Lighten up. My kids get to pick 2 things a year that will either make them miss school or be late in the am. Live a little. My 12 yo is going with friends. My 10 yo is going with me - I dread, dread, dread the fact we are going to opening day. |
Yes and yes.
Yes both 10 and 12 year old will see it.
My kids can go if they read the book first.
I went to see it yesterday and no would be the answer for my 10 year old. She saw the documentary about the Holocaust and the kid that wanted to collect paperclips and was very upset about how horrible those events were, last month. I figure she need several more years of perspective before we go down that road. Like parents above, must read before she goes to the movie.
10 and 12 yr old loved it
Great movie, very well done.
Theme must be the gladiators from the roman times?
Just saw it. It was fine for 12 year old DS who has read the books, but I won't take DD who is almost 11. She would be upset by it for sure.
