I have family coming to town who really want to try dim sum. Do you have a favorite spot? I live in Alexandria but am willing to travel.

Fortune dim sum in Falls Church is good, as is Mark's Duck house across the street. Both are in Seven Corners. Fortune is right next to home depot. My kids, 6 and 3, really love it! Tea and noodles, whoohoo!

A&J also has a Annandale location that would be closer for you. Both locations are good.

Thanks for the suggestions, everyone. The online reviews for all these places seem to vary wildly, and there are several mentions of people being "ripped off" and not being able to do anything about it since the bill came in Chinese. So, I don't have high hopes but we will give one of these places a shot.

We are planning to go for dinner on Sunday night, with one child in tow. Keep the suggestions coming. I will post back about our experience.
