Endometrial Biopsy for CCRM

Hi, I’m cycling at CCRM and need to have an endometrial biopsy done and sent out for testing somewhere else. My OBGYN said they would do the biopsy but not allow for it to be sent out anywhere for testing. Shady Grove told me if I’m not their patient they wont do it. Does anyone else have experience in this?? Please help if you know of any OBGYN that will do this for me, thanks!

Try Dr. Abassi at Columbia Fertility. She might do it.

Yep--Dr. Abbasi did mine for an out of town clinic.

Thank you so much for all your replies I was so stressed out!! I thought I found an RE to do it but they couldn't schedule me for the correct time frame. I just remembered I posted here and so happy to see the replies, I will call these drs today, thanks again I'm so relieved!

just FYI for anyone that may be searching in the future, I just called here and they will not do it
Many clinics will agree to the biopsy but not to letting me ship out the specimen to be tested elsewhere
I will call Dr Abassi next and hope for the best!

Yes please let us know if Dr. Abassi will do it, or if Dr. Gordon will do it. I will try to use Dominion for local monitoring for out of town IVF in the next few weeks.

Just an update that I called Dr Abbassi's office three times and was told i would get a call back and I never did. I finally found one OBGYN in Falls Church that would do it and they didn't take my insurance so they referred me to another OBGYN (even when I said I would pay out of pocket they said try to go through insurance here first) and the office they referred me to also said they would do it. So relieved to have this scheduled!
