I had this for the first two months of my first pregnancy and am now 4 weeks and having it slightly again- normal??? |
I assume that you mean 14 weeks? I would definitely call your doctor - it could be nothing, but in case there is an issue you'd definitely want to know. |
I had the same spotting about 3x through my first trimester. It was really nerve racking. I called my dr every time and went in for an ultrasound, but everything was always fine. He told me that it's not uncommon during the first trimester, but that it would stop in the second trimester. I'm 21 weeks now, and just found out I'm having a healthy little boy, so don't worry too much, but I would contact your doctor just to ease your mind. |
spotting and light bleeding even is very common in the first trimester; i think the brownish stuff is just old blood working its way out. they can never really explain the spotting but more often than not it's totally fine. nevertheless it's very nervewracking! good luck. |
no- only 4 weeks. Thank you all for your help! |
I hope all is OK. I will say if you are having a msicarriage, there is not a lot they can do. You may want to try to take it easy, although that is not proven to do much.
I had a miscarriage recently at around 8 weeks. It started as brownish when wiping, very slight spotting and progressed to bleeding/cramping in a couple of days. If you call your OB, they may be able to check you out. I think they can see the heartbeat at around 6 or 7 weeks. They did see the heartbeat with my baby, but I lost it a day later. I do hope all is well with your baby! |
I am 9 weeks and had spotting and light bleeding for the first two weeks. Our doctor did a few extra sonos, but everything was fine and I have stopped bleeding. My doctor said that quite a few women experience bleeding and a lot of it is old blood working it's way out as a PP mentioned. I suffered a m/c on my previous pregnancy and so was freaking out quite a bit but the bleeding was much heavier right from the start with that. Good luck and call your doc if you are worried, they'll check to make sure things are ok. |
I spotted at 4 weeks-for the entire week. Had my son 9 months later! |
