If you're going to fly with your kids please make them behave

I'm tired of lax parents with wild, spoiled kids disrupting flights. I can understand if a 3 or 6 month old baby cries on the flight but your 3yr old child needs to calm down and stop kicking the back of my seat or grabbing the head rest etc. Don't like it don't fly. I hope they keep grounding flights. When I was a kid one look from my mom would have me sitting up straight.

Do you have kids?

I'm usually o.k. with kids on planes, but there was one flight (5.5 hours) where the parents sat their three boys together and took seats 5-10 rows behinds them. It would have been nothing to note if it wasn't for the fact that these kids were all over the place, kicking seats, etc. After the flight attendant tried several times to calm them down (not her job) we finally told them to stop. The parents did not talk to them even once. It's like they didn't even care.

OK. I'll be sure to do that. Thanks.
On your end, if you're going to fly, please behave yourself and try not to be such an asshole.

That's the problem when you fly cattle class with the riff-raff.

OP. Stop being cheap and fly first or business class. You don't have to worry about kids there.

My kids have only ever flown business or first class, so. But one look from me and they freeze. Seriously.

I have kids and some children 3 and up are totally out of control. Some of you probably have these kids so own it.

Spoken like someone who doesn't have children.

I have 4 children, the youngest of which is 3. We don't even take her to the movies because she gets restless being somewhere where she's forced to be silent in a dark room. She's good for about 30 minutes, then she wants to get up.

With that said, she's been on one plane ride (trip to FL when she was 1.5). She was still nursing, so she slept most of the way and I pretty much let her use me like a human pacifier the whole time.

OP, I think you have a convenient memory of your own behavior and your mother's control over you in strange, new, and terrifying situations. I suggest you have a chat with her about the things you did to embarrass and inconvenience her. Might be eye-opening for you.

You shouldn't be taking a 3yr old to the movies anyway
