| Hi. I am looking to get a cupcake pull apart cake for my son's birthday party. Looking for a firetruck design. Any suggestions for a bakery in Northern Virginia that might be able to do this? |
| Have you checked at Costco, Sams or BJs? That's where all the kid's cakes come from that pull apart that I've seen. |
|
Checked with our local BJ's and they don't do them, but I'll check Costco.
Thanks! |
| I believe Giant offers them. |
| Both Giant and Safeway have them. At Giant I haven't been able to order them on-line though -- I've gone in and done it in person. |
| Safeway definitely has them. (we go to the one across from the Lee Harrison shopping center.) |
| I got one from Esquire Confections a couple of years ago. Google her. Cupcakes were delicious and truck cute. She's got pictures on her website. And no, I am in no way related to her -- found her through this site! |

I just want to pile onto the recommendations for Esquire Confections. I found her digging around on DCUM and we just had her make our DS 3rd birthday cake. It was seriously the most insane cake we've ever had. We wanted something that a 3 year old actually likes, a firetruck. Which if you go to any grocery store its all commercial crap (Dora, Disney, etc) no basic toddler requests (for my son, fire trucks, trash trucks or construction trucks).
Anyway, I am in no way connected to her, I just wanted to share with any other parents who are looking for a super moist adorable cake amazingly decorated check her out. |
| Is it because these were the thing about 10 years ago? I remember seeing them on Cakewrecks and I haven't looked at that website in seriously 10 years. |
