| Kids almost missed the bus this morning. Am brewing my pot of coffee to take to work in a thermos. Usually I am out the door with the kids, but today.... |
| Me too. Getting DD up this morning was terrible. |
| Should've practiced over the weekend |
| The first day was yesterday. |
|
Prepping??? That'd be almost like cheating!
That would not demonstrate your body's natural abilities to handle DST. |
| I dislike it too. Although this was the first year is didn't send me into a downward spiral. Not sure what I did differently. |
|
I really don't understand why it has the effect it does - it seems like an hour wouldn't make a difference but apparently our bio-rhythems get really off. I was listening to the news this morning and apparently the week after daylight savings there is a large increase in heart attacks, car accidents, etc.
I was pretty wiped out yesterday and this morning sucked (though I have two young kids and a full time job and I'm breastfeeding so mornings are not that great anyway!). Good news is it stays lighter later, and it means spring is almost here! |
| My daughter didn't get the memo. She was up at 6:30 am (aka 5:30 am) this morning. What the...? I usually have to drag her out of bed at 7:15 so I don't get it!!! |
| Sucks especially for high school kids. It was finally light going to school at 7 a.m. Now it's back to near darkness for the trip and waking in total darkness. |
| I hate the lack of sleep, but love getting home from work when it's still light outside, especially because my commute involves a lot of walking with my kids. I wish we could just get rid of the 'fall back' and keep it like this year round. |
| I like it. It means I can get home from work and still go for a walk around the neighborhood before it gets dark. |
I too, love it. I just wish we could stop doing the whole thing... I don't love Monday of this week (the sleepy feeling) but I do love that the days fly by this week, while we are all not used to the time change! |
| That plus a 3 hour plane flight back from the west coast and my internal clock is all screwed up. |
| Geez, what a bunch of whiners. It's only an hour. Let me guess, you don't travel internationally much. |
I like this part, too. But my body finds the time change difficult for a few days. And my son? He was a complete monster this morning when I woke him up. Poor thing. |
