So, Virginia's Republicans had time to probe my hoo-hoo but they can't get the state's business done

I am a Dem and totally disagree with the social policies VA has enacted recently. That said, I refuse to lay blame for budget problems at the feet of either party - I think it is a systemic problem and both sides are equally guilty.

And here's *my* save the government money suggestion: enact policies to get both federal and state governments to pass budgets on time. Would save money / improve efficiency if folks just had an actual budget to work with, instead of having to spend time planning for various budget scenarios. Plus folks will probably do a better job of maximizing returns on the government dollar if they have more time to process it.

You must be stupid because that is not the bill there is no mandatory probing of your hoe hole not that it hasn't been seen by most.

You can thank the lib agenda of wanting to fund governments pensions for unions vs gettingbstuff done.

The Virginia legislature will reconvene on March 21 in a special session to work on and pass the budget. This is the EIGHTH year in the last 10 that such action has been necessary and I think if OP had checked some facts (which you clearly have not) you will find that Republicans have not had control for the last ten years. Just make a tiny effort to check some facts before jumping on your liberal high horse.

Maybe you should check some facts. The Republicans have had control of the Virginia legislature since 2000, which is more than ten years (just do the math, if you're able to). How about making a tiny effort to start living in a reality based world instead of a reality-distortion field:

WOOOOOOWW... someone only did half of their homework!
The Virginia Assembly is composed of:
1) House of Delegates
2) Senate (and the democrats controlled from 2008-2012)

Who would think that on DCUM where we clamor about political rights that one would not actually educate themselves on the political system before posting wrong information! Move along PP and troll someone else.

Regardless of who controlled what 8 to 10 years ago, we're talking about this year's budget. THIS. YEAR'S. I agree with the OP, it's absolutely criminal that they took all this time to pass these bullshit measures when they should have been doing the people's business.

The Dems set them up. Clearly, liberal women went around flaunting their reproductive rights, which startled the Republicans into drafting the abortion legislation. Then NOBODY mentioned the vaginal probe thing until AFTER it was passed. Liberal conspiracy of silence if you ask me, because how would a good conservative legislator even know what goes on in those clinics?

And ALL THE TIME the real goal was to divert Republicans from the important goal of passing a budget. Crafty bastards, these liberals.

I'm a Republican - 2 points.

Number one - Isnt VA doing better financially than most states in the US right now - I mean, last time I heard we've been having budget surpluses, unlike broke ass MD (and I am originally from MD but defected). Why complain about their budget?

Number two - I had an abortion, there was an ultrasound, and it took a hell of a lot more than just a vaginal ultrasound to suck that baby out - it was so bad I was hugging that toilet by the recovery area for a lonnng time after. It was more painful than child labor. If it was deemed necessary to do a hoo hoo ultrasound, ask me if I would have given a shit. No.

Number three - arent there more pressing things for us to talk about, like the fact that almost the whole Arab world is in anarchy right now burning Christian peoples homes and churches or bombing them (well, bombing is in Sudan). Speaking of, or Sudan? Or finally addressing what to do about our 14 or 15 trillion deficit than went up as much in 3 years as in the entire Bush presidency? Why are we hunting people in caves in Afghanistan and spending billions there when we are broke asses? Why do broke people who cant afford insurance have to pay a tax penalty under Obamacare? Why are elderly persons going to be denied healthcare under Obamacare if it costs more than actuarial calculations will allow based on their projected life expectancy? Why won't Republicans leave the whole birth control controversy alone and pick and chose their battles more wisely? Why do poor people pay 6.2% social security taxes and rich people pay 0.000062% yet receive bigger social security payments than the poor who need it - it's like reverse robin hood economics for what was supposed to be a socialist program. There's so much to get into that's more worthwhile than VA's budget or pre-abortion hoo hoo ultrasounds.
