Does he know how to treat SPD children?

I don't know. His name came up a lot in recs for our dc's problems also. However, when I called their office to see if he was accepting new patients, they asked me to describe my child's issues. Then Dr Robbins left me a message telling me to set up an appt with one of the younger, less experienced members of the group. I called back asking to set up an appt with Dr Robbins, and the office manager told me basically that he decided what doctor a patient sees. They are so expensive and I didn't want to spend $$$ unless I was getting the guaranteed expert. If that makes sense.
