Baby initials MPH

Anonymous
Love a baby name with initials of mph. A good friend just reminded me it stands for " miles per hour". Ugh.. I love the name and dont really feel the initials will cause many issues for her growing up, but curious others thoughts. Thanks!

Its fine. My kid is SAT - either a verb or a hated test. I think the kids will survive childhood if that is the worst they can do.

Nickname the baby "Crash."

mine are FBI and it was never ever a problem. the only comments I got were WOW COOL!

Mine were ASS. Noone ever brought it up growing up except my brothers.

Hilarious. Love it! Agree with 8:11's attitude.

if she gets her master's in public health, she can be MPH, MPH!

i don't think anyone really thinks about initials so much, so i say go for it!

Also my degree--masters in public health. which I think is very cool.

HA - I thought of Masters in Public Health, not miles per hour!

Me too. Agree that this is not such an obvious one - you'll be fine. That being said, we chose not to give our child the initials OMG, despite liking the names.

it is a non issue. If you are a monogram/personalized everything person, the most popular monogram style is the las name in the center - mHp - so you won't even have mph on many things.

Thanks for the reassurance all! I like that it can stand for masters in public health too

My daughter's initials are MPH. Never heard of any issues, but she is about to enter middle school so that could change. Not many people reveal their middle name. They will most likely be known as MH.

We're expecting DD#1, and her first set of initials would've been MLF, which I just couldn't keep, so we've since changed to ALF (which I'm sure no one her age at this point would have a clue as to who Alf was).

until you spelled it out it did not even accure to me that is meant that.
