Alexandria artist and art teacher Luisa Tio (Duke B.A. in Art, NYU M.A. in Studio Art) is offering one-week full-day summer art camps in July for elementary and middle school students in Alexandria, Virginia. Camps will have varying themes and be located in the Rosemont neighborhood at 700 Commonwealth Avenue just a few blocks from the King Street metro. Campers will explore work by great artists and diverse cultures to inspire campers to make their own art. They will paint, sculpt, draw, make prints and much more. This camp is for the child who loves to create!

Full day camps will go from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm during the following weeks:

Session One, July 2-6, 2012
Session Two, July 9-13, 2012
Session Three, July 16-20, 2012
Session Four, July 23-27, 2012

Class size will be limited to keep classes small and the student-to-teacher ratio low. If you have questions or want to reserve a space, please email Luisa Tio at luisatio@earthlink.net or call at 703-599-7923. For more information about Luisa, her teaching, and camp themes for each week, please visit us at www.luisatio.com.
