We are in a rut with the same boring, not very flavorful items for dinner. My kids are bored with it, I am bored with it. Whenever I try anything new and try to follow a tasty looking recipe, it's an extremely complicated process that takes more time than it should, and usually involves it's own trip to the grocery store to get some particular item like chicken broth or chipotle powder or something random like that.
So, I am looking for a website, blog or app that gives you, say, a week's worth of recipes for quick, easy, balanced, nutritious type meals (especially dinners), along with the grocery list you need purchase in order to have what you need to get that week's worth of meals made. Does this exist? It would be extra cool if it planned the meals to use the item you cooked the day before in an different fashion the next day. So, for example, if Tuesday's meal was grilled chicken w/ rice and asparagus or something, then Wednesday's meal was chicken quesadillas in which you used the remainder of the chicken you cooked the night before. Or something like that. But the bottom line is I need a yummy, organized site to tell me the meals to prepare Mon-Sun and tell me what to purchase to prepare them, so I don't have to think it over too much myself and pull from 1000 different sources and get overwhelmed. Any recommendations would be much appreciated by me and my kids! |

OP here - I just looked at the website. It does look awesome! I got hungry looking at the sample menus even though I already ate our boring dinner tonight ;
Thanks! |
Aviva spoke to my mom's group and while I haven't signed up for her service, I did buy her cookbook which has a lot of great recipes in it that are relatively easy and not time consuming to make. |
| Agree - I think the scramble cookbook is a busy parent's best friend! |
