Jeff,

Can you verify this IP address is on the west coast? And can you please do something, if so? I have lost two friends to suicide in the past year. So tragic. Chances are good this is a hoax, but better to do what you can to help? Can you pull hte IP address and contact the police? I'd say this is a reason to do so.

This. I reported this asking the same thing. This isn't funny, and if the person needs help can we somehow get it to them?

Don't worry. It's a well-known (to me) drama queen. She is here nearly every week with a different drama. It's worse than "Days of Our Lives". She has boyfriend issues, husband issues, more boyfriend issues. You name it. If nobody plays along, she tends to sock puppet her threads. She has been here for years. I'm going to remove that thread because too many people are reporting it.

I am quite sure that none of the drama is real. This is entertainment for her. I am sure that you would recognize many of her threads and you will see that her adventures tend to be mutually exclusive. But, I don't have the energy to track them all down at the moment.

Yes, please close the "I wish my DH & CD were dead" thread. It's really disturbing.

I've deleted the thread. The poster has been very active for the past few weeks. In all other threads, the poster claimed to be a divorced father who was successfully bedding any number of young women. The poster also appeared to have a huge amount of resentment toward women. It's anybody's guess what the poster was hoping to accomplish with this thread. Perhaps he was trying to expose women as all hating their husbands and children.

Do you ever get creeped out thinking about what someone with such resentments is doing in real life? Do you ever keep a list of things like this that you find unsettling? I'd want to keep track of someone like this. (But wouldn't want to have to personally be responsible for tracking weirdos on my site). Yikes.

There are a small number of posters whose possible real life actions concern me. However, I don't do any special tracking of them.
