Good news for Rockville

Chef Geoff's will be opening in the former Houston's space (briefly Agaain Tavern) across from Montrose Crossing shopping center! Yea! I believe a May opening is expected.

Agaain is still open in DC. It was not well advertised or well known. People were upset that it took over the space of Houston's and not open to something new. The food and staff were decent when we went a few times. Its too bad they closed but Chef Geoff will be very welcomed. Finally something new coming to Rockville.

I'm actually looking forward to a Wal-mart coming and Bob's has those free snacks (though their furniture is not my style). Seasons 52 gave me an upset stomach on more occasions than not so we will not eat there anymore. Matchbox was decent, staff was very nice but they were really expensive for a basic salad and pizza so they get ruled out. At least Chef Geoff has the early bird specials that are reasonably priced, especially for the amount of food you are getting. At this point, Taco Bell wins out over many places sadly.

I'm not a fan of Chef Geoff's, but I'm glad something is coming to that space.

Againn had a great brunch and a fabulous lentil stew which I miss dearly. Oh, and the banoffee pudding was delicious. I whine about Againn's disappearance whenever we drive by.
I was not terribly impressed by Chef Geoff's when I went, although his Lia's brunch is ok. Any new Rockville brunch option would be good news.

I deeply, deeply miss Againn.

I also was not impressed by Chef Geooff's though Lia's isn't bad.
