I have been to countless funerals in the last 5 years, none of which were family. I am amazed how few "friends" showed up. Some of these were on weekends, but I took a day off a temp assignment once to attend a funeral. That is what friends do that really care about their friends.

Danni probably thinks some of the listeners she met through the years that may have tried to get to know personally and was successful should have reached out, and haven't.

Way to go Danni....

It's probably all the death right? That's made me think about everything. I want to take a second and apologize for my silence. It really wasn't up to me. I've been calling out people's wrong doings and fighting for social justice my whole life...I stand up for people that's what I do! So...why was it so hard to stand up for myself? Many reasons, my kids, not wanting to be portrayed as the angry black woman people were trying to make me out to be, threats...well here's the truth...I'm not going to stay silent. If I do, then the women after me will have too as well...the women before me did. I have daughters, yes...but I'd rather be broke telling the truth than allow my daughters to grow up in a world that forces them to be silent. In short, I'm taking myself out of the corner I was backed into.

It's odd because she has plenty of people commenting on her statuses extending their condolences, etc. yet she choose to focus on those who haven't. I know someone like this IRL and she is exhausting. She has health issues and people are beyond accommodating of her, do the nicest things for her, etc. yet her FB posts are always calling some unsupportive person out.

I mean, I agree that if he had never run he'd probably still be alive, but cause of death isn't a reason you should or shouldn't give condolences to the person affected by the death. Would you not give condolences to a mother whose child died of a drug overdose?

Well it might not be the right time to still, but sounds like something shady happened and she either gets a settlement with the condition of staying silent, OR she is referring to opening her mouth would likely result in it being hard for her to get jobs in the future. What do you guys think?

She most have been low on her the engagement for page. But for real if you say you're not going to be silent...then don't...? If she doesn't post about the matter than she's going to come off as a complete hypocrite (though I think it's been proven that she already is) but still.
