"Search" option not functioing?

Hi,
The Search option is a great tool, but I am either using it incorrectly or perhaps it isn't functioning. It doesn't seem to "recognize" the forum I specify (from the drop down menu).

For example:
If I type in "pediatricians" in the word search field, then select the Gay and Lesbian forum - I end up getting 371 results from a combination of ALL the forums (General Discussion, Expected Moms, etc.).

Could it be my browser?

Any thoughts?

You are right that the drop down menu that selects forums to search is not working. However, if you go into the forum that you want to search, there is a search field at the top of the topic list that says "search this forum". That search function correctly limits the search to that forum.

Oh yes, that search option you mentioned is a good idea. Duh...don't know why I just didn't use that.
