Hopefully upcoming trials will ruin this attempt at pretending to have the moral high ground. |
saw an article today about a monsignor ordering a list of victims to be shredded. |
I think all that talk about school reform is to distract us from the sex scandals at public schools. Considering the higher number of incidents of sexual abuse at public schools they should receive no funding. Did you read about the school in CA where the teacher was making the children eat his semen off spoons? Wait, was he Catholic? |
..crickets... |
OMG! I had not heard that. That's horrible. How did that happen stating in 2005 - and no child told? No parent complained? |
Hispanic surname. |
I don't believe the children knew what they were eating. The entire staff was replaced at the school.
Good pint on the surname. Christian at a minimum. |
Why any intelligent adults would turn to an ex-Nazi pedophile-hider in a dress for their moral guidance is totally beyond me. |
His name is Berndt, but the school is called Miramonte. But comparing this to the Church scandal shows two things -- that OP is touting an isolated example in the much larger public school system and that the reaction has been immediate and uncompromising, unlike the Church cover-ups. |
Were all the victims male? |
Nice job by 08:54 in diverting the thread from its initial focus on systematic cover-ups of endemic abuse in the Catholic church by focusing on one isolated pedophile at a public school. Y'all took the bait.
I too am enraged that the catholic priesthood dares pretend it has the moral high ground on anything. I guess the people buying this are the sheep who haven't left. |
My bad, I thought we were talking about George Hernandez. Other LA teacher sex abuse scandal. |
Fucking idiots. |
He is catholic right? He must be. A union dues paying public school teacher would never do something like this. They are the bedrock of our society unlike all those vile pedofile priests... |
