The Golden Bachelor

But she has had 4+ months to think it over and come to terms with the way it worked out. I don't fault her for raking Gerry over the coals. But she's 4+ months out from Costa Rica. Her life is moving on.

And pretty sure she'll be Golden Bachelorette, which will be a far better deal for her than the dubious honor of being Mrs. Gerry Turner.

No way, she looked amazing. She did the equivalent of what someone going to their ex’s wedding would do. Look fabulous and happy. Good for her. She may have had some work done on her face (but not as much as some, you can see wrinkles). But I believe her body is natural, with maybe spanx. She looked really good.

Kathy's plastic surgeried face and fake plastered-on smile skeeve me out. I find her insufferable in every way.

The whole hot-girl-dress-to-an-ex's wedding is a sad cliche, but I suspect this was more about Golden Bachelorette self-promotion than Gerry.

When she would realize she wasn't smiling, she'd suddenly smile like a hyena. It was disconcerting. I can see how her Joan River schtick would appeal to some, but she does nothing for me.

I didn’t initially recognize her with that new chipmunk face! She looked better and more natural on the show.

Why did we see so much of her last night… is she also in the running for golden bachelorette? (That said, she did a good job even sounding husky.)

She can wear whatever color she likes. I just don’t understand why such a cute lady opted to look like a giant marshmallow. That ensemble did nothing for her.

It was strange because it looked too tight from the front and too fluffy from the side. Not at all flattering, boo.

It looked better when she tried it on the first time, something seemed off with the fit for the ceremony. Maybe it was altered a bit too tight or she had gained a couple of pounds being out of her normal disciplined routine? But the veil ruined it, and the first dress she tried on looked so much prettier on her.

You may be right re self promotion, but I didn’t mean that she cares that much about Gerry. Just that she can either stay home and everyone thinks she’s still upset, or show up looking fabulous and like she’s moved on (which she likely has anyway) and is enjoying her life. Not about making Gerry rethink his decision.

Um, what? Theresa, NO! Why isn't her daughter giving her better guidance with what to wear etc.?

You know, I'm all for age positivity but there is such a thing as tasteful lingerie for 70+ women. I think she sometimes forgets she's not in her 30s anymore.

Right. She may be thin but that does not mean she should not dress appropriate to her age. I think it reveals her beginnings. Not being snobby, but trying to understand her taste (the bridesmaids dresses were also pretty bad).

Susan? Which one is Kathy, the host? Talk about amateur hour. . And the writing was bad. They should have sprung for an actual professional.

She really does have an extraordinary figure for a woman her age, and her skin...! She said all the right things about sexual empowerment etc. but I didn't feel 'rah rah' like wanted to. Agree maybe it was just the taste level of her choice.

I think all along there's been something very 'braggy' about Theresa that is off-putting.

Did anyone catch Ryan saying something to Trista during the ceremony, after Gerry said he'd work every day to make sure Theresa was the happiest woman on earth? From the look on his face, it was clearly something snarky, lol. It's at 1:10.42.

I checked out before the ceremony. Please let me never see that man cry again, as long as I live! But I might have to look into this.

I was curious, went to look. He definitely said something snarky but I couldn't make it out.
