I've 20 years' worth of them. Ripped out of magazines, cut off the sides of boxes, recipe cards, xerox copies, etc.
Any tips for easy organization? |

I rip out, print out, scribble, etc and then put into photo albums with the sticky sheet pages - you know, the kind where you peel back the plastic sheet, stick the "whatever" to the page, and put the plastic back? Easy to clean, easy to move around, etc and I can replace recipes that I tried/didn't like, never used, etc. No worries about "standardizing" my method of gathering, as long as it's smaller than 8.5x11.
However, I am tempted to scan/type and store them all on my kindle. My only concern is that the kindle (as does other devices) will sleep after a certain length of time, which means I'd potentially be digging at the wake-up button with a butter-covered finger or whatever. Interested to see others' responses. |
| I use a 3-ring binder with sheet protectors. I can put two recipes into each sleeve to make it double-sided. I like this method because each page is removable, and I can clip the recipe to my kitchen cupboard to make it easily viewable. Plus the sleeve protects the paper from spills and splatters. |
