Hi all, My three year old Daughter was just diagnosed with an overgrowth of yeast & her doctor started her on an oral & topical dose of a homeopathic remedy for Candida....after three days her Ginny was no longer red or having a foul odor, but what was a mild rash on her bottom became very inflamed & itchy....She was quite miserable so we gave her an oral anti-fungal (only available in an adult dose we split the two pills & spaced out the doses for her) after the second dose an odd oval-ish raised ring-rash appeared on her back by her shoulder & another grape-sized dark oval on her neck::it's so odd & looks like ringworm. but why would it only appear after she was given the anti-fungal that should clear up any such ringworm?.....any ideas?....any help would be appreciated, trying to avoid yet another trip to the doctors.....One other bit of info::i have been using some trader joe's lavender detergent but after this I switched back to the unscented & dye free arm & hammer::so the initial rash could have been detergent-related?
