What is considered to be a professional career? I see the term tossed around on here frequently. Is it any corporate job?
Are you wondering if being a nanny is a professional job/career? I think it is for some.
For instance, I am an event planner, would that fall into the "professional" category? |

I don't see an event planner as a professional job. The person in it can be "professional" of course, but it is not a profession to me. It's a business career.

Ask the Labor Department as they have a list:

A plumber is a professional. So is a cardiologist, or a car mechanic.
