Diary of a Republican----Monday: Outlawed contraception...

Anonymous
Tuesday:Repealed Title IX
Wednesday: Repealed the 19th Amendment (we're getting there, folks!)
Thursday: Abolished the EEOC (almost!)
Friday: Repealed the 14th Amendment
Saturday: passed a new tax credit for employers of indentured servants (minimum term of 7 years) to put the American people back to work
Sunday: legalized slavery--we now have 0% unemployment even in the face of soaring birth rates.

And God looked upon our work and saw that it was good.

See, it all makes sense in the end!

Monday "life happens" unfortunately in my daughters uterus. Tuesday we meet the man God has chosen to be her provider. My the lord does work in mysterious ways, but if the Lord can turn a locust eating crazy man with a hair shirt into John the Baptist I suppose HE can find this boy a job, tattoos and all. Wednesday plan b happens and daughter is sent off to live with her aunt for a while.

So you're a bleeding heart Liberal and you disagree with Republicans.

Shocking.

Now, what was your point again?

I find it funny how many anti-Republican thread there are here. Like this is going to make me vote Democratic?

This is not anti-republican. It is just the truth.

Just out of curiosity, do you two anonymouses (anonymice? anonymi?) know each other, or are you just stereotyping each other?

Every now and then I forget to sign in, so I join your anonymousery, but I feel rather ill at ease about it, since I will probably not recognize my own comments a day or two later -- we anonymous liberals sound so much alike. Unless, of course, I'm in one of my polite and respectful moods -- not too much of that on here.

Yes, this is incomprehensible to you because of course Republicans do not write critical or even mocking posts on this site.

You are conveniently ignoring the fact that the Southern Democrats who opposed it fled to the Republican Party, starting with Strom Thurmond in 1964. You took over those no votes.

1964? Almost 50 years ago? That's the best ammunition you can come up with?

Why don't you regale us all with tales of their 1850s opposition to slavery next?

Did contraception get outlawed or did people object to the government mandating that it be covered at the employers cost? Talk about big brother.

Exactly, 7:53. The whole discussion is a way to take the focus away from the crappy economy and onto social issues to get the female vote in the next election. Talk about smoke and mirrors.
