Where to find Extra Wide sized shoes??

My feet are really swollen...and the only size that will fit now are extra wides. I can find some on Zappos, but with only 3 weeks left of my pregnancy I don't want to wait for shipment and then if they don't fit, I have to send them back, etc.

I'd like to try some on and get some locally. I live in VA but can travel this w/e to find some.

Can you wear flip flops? I am not pregnant, but that is what I have been wearing virtually all summer. Personally, I would just order from zappos.com or my new favorite - endless.com. You can order multiple pairs with free shipping and they will come the next day. If they don't fit, just pop them back in the box they came in and send them on their way. I do this all the time with my kids' shoes. Fast and easy!

Easy Spirit has "w" & "ww" sizes. There is an outlet at Potomac Mills (Woodbridge). It would be worth a call to see if they have any in your size.

Bandolino (downtown) carries wide shoes. Don't know about ww.

Try Marmi at Tyson's. I go there for my AAA shoes, but it's a wonderful store that carries a large variety of sizes and widths (tho not in every shoe). I think they have a website -- www.marmishoes.com? Downside is that they're not cheap.

Nordstrom usually has a good selection of shoes in various widths. I'm on my 3rd pregnancy where I get to spend at least of portion of my 3rd trimester during the summer. For all 3 of these summer I live in slides. Most of them are from Munro. If a wider size is not available, then sometimes I buy up a size and that works as well.
