FA adjustment?

| Has anyone ever received more financial aid than the EFC from SSS indicated? There has been talk in other threads about whether or not there is a cost of living adjustment done by schools after the SSS/NAIS calculation. If anyone has received a reduction of EFC by way of a larger FA package than SSS indicated was needed, that might indicate whether schools are making an adjustment for the higher cost of living in DC. I'm not asking for school names here, just whether anyone has gotten more FA than they expected given the EFC. |
