When does menopause stop?

I don't know when it stops. Some women breeze right through, and others it seems to last for years. Check with your mom or older female relatives. From what I hear it tends to follow a pattern in related women.
My mom had hot flashes for almost 10 years! Great. But I have been using Evamist (prescription) as an estrogen supplement and it has helped a lot. |

| 67 and still flashing. My gyn says she has pts in their 80's with hot flashes. My mom claimed she never had a one. |

It's called peri menopause. It can last 10 years.
