Gymnastics for 4 yr old?

| Hi, our DS has speech and developmental delays but seems like he might be ready for a class and shows interest in gymnastics/tumbling. He will be 4 in a couple of weeks. Although his speech delays are fairly obvious, the developmenal delays are more along the lines of attention and memory rentention and are not necessarily as pronounced when compared to other children the same age. I searched through several threads in which parents recommended gymnastics classes for SN children, but they all seemed to be threads involving parents living in Montogomery County. I was wondering whether anyone has any recommendations for a gymnastics-type program in Northern Virginia that is good with SN kids? Many thanks! |

| They used to ( okay like ten years ago) have an on call OT who specialized in sensory integration at Chantilly ACademy gymnastics. Might be worth a call over there. |
