Moving in with Family, how to register?

I am thinking of moving in with my parents with my child for at least a year to save some money to create a better life for both of us. She will be starting Kindergarten in the fall, how does one go about registering when not actually having any utilities, etc in my name?

Start with calling and asking the school registrar of the school that is in your parent's neighborhood.

The school will probably have you contact the school's pupil personnel worker. You'll have to provide documentation that you are living with your family. I did the same thing and my parents and I had to fill out a form and have it notarized before meeting w/ the PPW. I also had to bring lots of my own bills proving that we were living with my family.

Do you have a cell phone? Change the billing address.

If you are in Arlington- look out. They are sending out the dogs to check false residency claims. We just got word in our elementary school newsletter. Make sure everything is above-board.
