How can anyone who claims to model his life on Jesus' example work so hard to deny the poor access to health care? |
the title of this thread cracked me up. you may not be aware of the widely accepted secondary definition of Santorum, pioneered by Dan Savage's readers:
http://spreadingsantorum.com/ |
also, I am patiently yet eagerly awaiting the day that Santorum is outed as the closet homosexual that he is. This is so abundantly clear to some of us, so he must be squeaky clean in his life in order to not slip up (and make a wide stance in any public bathrooms, etc) |
the poor have health care. its called welfare and ER visits...maybe if you actually knew what Santorum stood for you wouldn't make teenage comments |
I too was cracking up (tee hee hee) at the thread title. I can't believe more people don't know about the Savage thing. |
He really is a nasty piece of work. What a shit that man is. |
How would the er help a working poor man with diabetes? He wouldn't qualify for Medicaid because of his job. |

He's an ass, and has a personality disorder. |
Oh come on. It's perfectly normal for people to think their prejudices are God's will. And OP, am I wrong in thinking that your subject line was a direct reference to Savage's little joke? |
I was gonna say, OP, you probably shouldn't get santorum in your mouth. That can't be healthy. But he is an enormous hypocrite. Is his daughter dying or "just" sick? Hasn't he also said that the best way for him to honor her is to run for president? I guess I'd rather have my father with me, rather than jaunting off on some vanity trip. |
He'll just do what people have done in similarly rigid cultures forever: jam his true feelings down as hard as he can. They'll squeak out somewhere. Oh, look! Misogynisr and homophobic policies that he forces! |
Are you kidding? I just love it when sanctimonious Republicans get caught with their flys unzipped. |
I'm assuming this post is meant to be idiotic. |
Not to mention that relying on ER visits when you are sick is a good way to bankrupt yourself. If you can't afford healthcare for yourself, how can you afford to rack up hundreds of dollars in medical fees per visit? How are you supposed to pay them off while feeding yourself and keeping up with your rent and utilities? And that's assuming that you have no other debt. In case you were wondering, here's a breakdown of what that's like. http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=VBbaBUTm5Rs#t=112s |
