Luteal Phase -- remains fairly constant?

Anonymous
Hi Ladies, I'm monitoring myself mostly by OPK (the sticks, not digital), and based on this it seems my luteal phase is mostly between 11-12 days. My menstrual cycle is usually fairly regular (27-29 days), but I have occasional ones that are shorter (e.g., 24-25 days). Have you found that your LP remains mostly the same, regardless of menstrual cycle length, or would it proportionately adjust if your cycle is shorter?

From TCOYF: Luteal phase is generally 12-16 days. Luteal phase should not vary more than a couple of days between cycles (unlike follicular phase) because the presence of the corpus luteum on the uterine wall is not affected by stress or your outside life.

"You can be fairly confident you are pregnant if yur temperatures remain high three days beyond your longest luteal phase to date."

Hope this helps.
