brunch place on 14th st with a 1 year old?

anyone have suggestions for a place i can take my 1 year old for brunch on/near 14th street/logan circle area?
hoping to meet friends w/o kids, otherwise i would go elsewhere and/or earlier. |

| I think any of the restaurants that serve brunch would be fine. Cafe St. Ex, Busboys and Poets, Eatonville come to mind. |

| We tried to get into Cafe St Ex recently (with a somewhat older child) and it was going to be a wait so we went to Bar Pilar and enjoyed ourselves. |

| Commisary and Logan Tavern are bustling, so a 1-year-old wouldn't possibly cause a ruckus! There's a (cash-only) garage nearby too. |

| We've taken our son (who is now 2.5) to Eatonville and Busboys regularly. You can also get brunch at Alero @ 13th and U (very kid-friendly). |
