cxan anyone rec a realtor for that area?
Meg Finn seems to be pretty active there, and I've heard she's good too. You could ask this on the TakomaPAKK listserv on Yahoo, and probably get a better answer.
Liz Brent
And FYI, it is Silver Spring, not Silver Springs
Tamara Kucik sells a lot of homes in our SS neighborhood, prices them right and she sells them fast. And no, I don't work for her.
Ha! We're sort of looking informally in the SS/TP area and it seems like almost every listing I've seen of hers above $450k has been listed at least $50-100k over what the house ends up selling for--6 months later. I'm specifically thinking of the one on S. Mansion Drive and one on Ellsworth (not the one that's currently under contract) but have seen a few other listings of hers that have just sat there. |
I've heard good things about Kathy Whalen.
Definitely Meg Finn. She dominates those two markets. We've used her to sell twice and buy once. She did a very good job all three times.
Yup. Silver Springs is in Florida. |
Agree Meg Finn is fantastic, and her son Dan Metcalf is good too. They work as a team. Not sure if you are selling or buying, but I believe Meg typically only sells (though per PP, perhaps she makes exceptions), but she definitely has others on her team that do buyer side representation.
Dan's ego can be a barrier to getting to closing.
Paulette Ladas, Susan and Dave Savercool, Tim Horst
Kathy Whalen was the seller's agent for our house and I was really impressed by her.
16:22 - Can you say more?
Thanks for all the info! We are looking to buy, not sell, if that changes anything...
