am looking for one that is spill proof (i.e. can throw it in my bag and not worry) but keeps the coffee warm. I feel like i go through these very often so am curious if there is a better one out there. thanks
Do you want to be able to sip from it directly? My Nissan thermos keeps liquids hot insanely long (if filled with hot tea at 8am, I still need to blow on it before drinking twelve hours later) and has never spilled, but it's the type where you loosen the inner cap and then pour into a cup or use the outer cap as a cup.
i would prefer to drink directly from it. thanks
contigo. great
second the contigo - got mine at target, it has a carbiner handle and I can hook it to my purse.
Third the Contigo. I've had mine for years (not the prettiest on the outside anymore) and use it all the time and it's still amazing. Come to think of it, I should spring for a new one.

I bought this for dh and I after seeing review on America's test kitchen:
http://www.thermos.com/products/360-drink-lid-tumbler.aspx We don't throw it in a bag; we generally have them in a cup holder, but you could probably watch the review online? |

Second the recommendation for the Thermos Nissan backpack bottle.
See this thread: http://www.dcurbanmom.com/jforum/posts/list/202254.page I bought mine from Amazon: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000K604P0/ And I bought a second one. Then my DH bought one. Then a colleague at work bought one. Her boyfriend then bought one. Then my boss bought one. I have no financial interest in them.
