| Any advise on where to buy one? I don't mind spending a bit more on one since I have three daughters, but I don't know where to start looking. |

Honestly I found both of my girls' dresses at JC Penney. Pretty styles but didn't break the bank which was nice since because of size they couldn't wear the same dress.
And Lord knows no one else had off-the-rack dresses in my area! |

There's a pretty white silk dress in the Special Occasions section on the Gymboree website $84. Check J Crew too.
I think the whole miniature wedding dress thing seems strange. My mom made my dress, white eyelet cotton. Wonder if she has it packed away somewhere. The faith formation director at our parish said last week at the parent meeting that they don't have to have a white dress, but if you look at the photos from previous years, everyone does. Maybe we'll be the odd ones out when my girls are old enough (this year is my son's turn). |

I just saw really pretty ones at the Burlington Coat Factory. I was really surprised at their selection.
|
| I agree with Burlington CO. Dresses are not expensive at all and are really nice. |
| Costco! Yet another example of not knowing what I'll end up buying when I go in there. |
| Another vote for Burlington -- they tend to have a huge selection of dresses. |

| Driving to Baltimore is probably not what you had in mind, but The Pied Piper has beautiful dresses. Pricey, but heirloom quality for sure. |
| My friend got hers on eBay last year. It was originally from Nordstrom and had been worn once (for 1st Communion) for about 2 hours). She paid almost nothing for it and it looked brand new. I'm thinking about looking there before checking out dept stores in case I get lucky! |
