WPPSI in 75th percentile...schools?

My DC scored.....average.....with a FSIQ of 110....what schools might take him for K? Thanks for any help!

Despite what you read on these boards, he has a shot at any school except the ones that are considered the "Big 3." He could even have a shot at a "Big 3" if you somehow have connections to that school.

Was you DS scores even? I agree with the prior post but if your kid is in preschool you might want to find out if he is grasping the concepts. If he did well on the voc and not on the sections that require motor skills get him tested so that you are more prepared to get a yes from the schools where you applied. If the scores are even and he has developed normally thus far you probably will not have an issue getting him in most places.

Our DC got those same scores and got into a big three. We are "full-pay." Child is very good looking and friendly; we were told DC had a great playdate.

He has a shot at the big 3. If his scores are consistent that is a big plus. If he's charming and socially adept and does well at his play date it's even better.

Also, 75 percentile is not average. He scored in the top third.

Generally "big 3" schools are looking for 85th percentile (roughly fsiq of 120) or better.

He did even better, that's top 1/4.

You think he got in because he's good looking???
