| Moving to DC, to the 16th Street Heights neighborhood, and due any day. Will be starting work in May/June. I would love any suggestions for day cares in the neighborhood for infants. Thanks! |

A few options. We use Senses of a Child (DC currently in infant room). We are very happy with them. they are moving from 16th & Kennedy to 14th & Kennedy this weekend (new building/but smaller). All the infant teachers are great.
Another option is Bright Start on Georgia & Kennedy. Also a great facility, I just wasn't a fan of the "nickle and dime" approach that they had. Several ppl on the board are happy with them though. |
| De Colores which is within a 5 minute drive. |
| OSSE will refer you to: https://www.mychildcaredc.com/ They will email or fax you licensed childcare centers and in-home one's by your Ward or your interest. |

My DS has been at Bright Start for over a year since he was 3 months. We are big fans. He is loved, safe, and has learned so much. They also have a meal plan with Healthy Bites that makes everything easier and he is trying lots of new kinds of food.
Very happy with our experience. |
| Thanks everyone! This is a huge relief. Excited to know one of the locations is steps away from our new house. |
| also a great home day care on 15th st, Little Star, (search archives for reviews). Marilyn is at 441-6227. we loved it (had been at bright start previously). |
