The teacher was wrong but the girl knew exactly what she was doing and probably got mad that he wasn't responding to her texts and then went to the police.

Scary! I have kids in both RMHS and JVMS and this is to close to us, in the morning we saw TV people at the schools.

The girl must have been 15 at the time. 16 is legal in Maryland. But a 4th degree sex offense, which he is allegedly charged with, is with a minor who is 14 or 15 years old, with the defendant at least 4 years older. |

You don't know what you are talking about. The age of consent in Maryland is 16. That means anyone 16 or over can make a decision on who they want to have sex with. They can be 18, 28, or 68. If this guy had been her next door neighbor and not a coach no law would have been broken. |
