AAP Center Choice

Anonymous
My DS in private school and eligible for AAP next year. In the form to response/register to the FCPS, it asks what center or local I like to register. Do I have a choice to select any center or local Level IV regardless to my resident address? If not, can I ask or request to a different school? Bus is provided?

Thank you.

No, you don't have a choice. It's the AAP center for which your zoned elementary school is assigned.

Yes, bus service is provided (assuming you're not a walker already).

Check also whether your base school.has Lical Level IV, as that may provide a second option.

You need to submit your screening file IN PERSON today (February 3) before 3:30 p.m.

This person's child has already been accepted through the earlier process that applies to private school kids. She does not have to worry about the Feb. 3 deadline that applies to the current FCPS kids.

The link above is for non-FCPS students.

I assumed the OP meant that they have already received their eligibility letter from the fall screening process and are trying to fill out their placement paperwork.
