i typically look at the new messages to see if there is anything I want to read......
I am constantly amazed at the shallow, silly threads.....
Do most of us really have nothing better to do than stress out about names, nannies, thongs, SAHM vs WOHM, and whether a post is real or not.......
I guess I should just be done with this place......

Yup! And obviously, so do you! DCUM is my favorite way to de-stress. If you don't enjoy it, there is absolutely no reason to waste your time coming on.

Yup! That's it, it's anonymous so it's where I come with all the dumb questions I wouldn't dare ask others in real life. It's also where I come to veg out, when I can't read another story about war, famine, murder, north Korea, etc

coming on here depresses me sometimes. People seem very smart (which is good) but also very harsh. I guess that's the way it goes with an anonymous forum. Sometimes I appreciate the honesty and directness, sometimes I find myself needing a break because coming on here makes me feel bad about myself. And yes, I know, that's silly that I let an anonymous forum do that to me - but reading all the messages inevitably I feel like I live in the wrong neighborhood, don't make enough, don't wipe my ass the right way after going #2, whatever....
