colustrum in 38th week - does that mean birth is iminent?

Anonymous
beginning of 38th week (first baby) and I alreay have what appears to be colustrum coming out of my nipples - is that a sign that I will probably go into labor before the 40th week?

No. Some women get it much sooner than 38 weeks and still go late.

Well, birth is definitely imminent for you no matter what! But colostrum isn't necessarily a sign. I had it very early on (30ish weeks?) and still went late.

I have been having leakage since around 5 months I'm currently 35 weeks with no signs of labor, I think it is different for everyone
