colustrum in 38th week - does that mean birth is iminent?

| beginning of 38th week (first baby) and I alreay have what appears to be colustrum coming out of my nipples - is that a sign that I will probably go into labor before the 40th week? |

| No. Some women get it much sooner than 38 weeks and still go late. |

Well, birth is definitely imminent for you no matter what!  But colostrum isn't necessarily a sign. I had it very early on (30ish weeks?) and still went late.
