A brazilian..... removes EVERYTHING? For those who have done it, was it painful? Pros/Cons?

Please recommend where to go for one of these Thanks!

They'll remove what you want. Some women keep a landing strip or a small triangle on top.

I highly highly recommend Aida in old town. She was fantastic!!

It's waxing, so it hurts, but I forgot to take pain medicine before. For a Brazilian and under arms, I was finished in 20 minutes. Including getting dressed after. Very quick.
Instead of normal wax, she uses this waxy paste stuff. Hard to explain. It hurts less than normal wax though.

Hurts, but worth it. You'll be totally smooth. Front and back!

It's not that bad--just don't drink coffee before--caffeine makes you more sensitive to pain.

It hurts, but it is quick. They'll leave whatever you want to leave. I personally think the landing strip looks like Hitlers mustache so I go with a triangle. Also, drink plenty of water. Less pain if you are hydrated.

Does it all itch like crazy when it's growing back in?

I also recommend Aida. Her technique is sugaring instead of wax which hurts less. It's also better to use the sugaring technique if you have sensitive skin. I never get the redness or bumps that typically come from waxing.

The first time hurt the most but nothing unbearable and I'm a real wimp! I go monthly and it's a breeze.

Good luck

Curious -- you ladies obviously prefer the bald look.

Do you also require your men to shave/wax/manscape? To what extent?

No, far less itching than if you shave.

Well the question is Brazilians so the responses are only going to be from people who've had them.
My husband "manscapes" - I believe he just uses clippers. He did so before we met, just like I waxed before we met. We both like to keep it neat down there.

You can have them remove what you want. Bliss Spa in DC does a really good job too. My husband recently asked me to grow the bush back. I've been getting waxed for 5 1/2 years. He thinks its sexier. I'm doing it but I'm going to continue to get the sides and the back waxed. I like the clean feeling between the cheeks.

At the very least, I prefer men to be trimmed. It's easier to keep clean.
I wax for me, not for men.

I only got through half of my wax. I paid her in full with a huge tip to stop the torture! I wax but not a Brazilian. Good luck. I would recommend a bottle of wine and some Xanax before!

I don't like it when men are hairless. Yuck.

My DH does not do any scaping. However he is blonde and is not a very hairy person. I would think that most men who are very hairy do a little bit of trimming with clippers at least, no? Same for hairy women, doesn't most everyone, to some certain extent do a little grooming?

I'm with another poster, I do it for me, I've always liked to keep well groomed and trimmed. Though, I got sick of the constant work, so I went laser. I also leave a little on top, but any sort of ass hair? No freakin' way!
