Teacher here. If it is a boy, Gray is the only spelling I've seen. I have had a few boys named Grayson in my class and currently have a girl named Greyson.

I like Gray. I know a Grayson, but I prefer Gray. Grayson is too trendy with the -son suffix (ala Addison, Mason, etc.).
