TMI--pinching/pain in labia last month?

Sorry this is TMI, but on just one side of the labia I feel pain like a pinched nerve or pulled something (tendon? herniated something?). Its not incapacitating but twinges when I move and its uncomfortable. Is this just the effect of carrying so much weight? I can't see anything wrong, though it _might_ be a little swelled, I can't tell...

It is likely VERY swelled - LOL. (I think it was Jenny McCarthy who described her labia when she was pg as "purple twinkies"...)

Might be increased blood flow, might be round ligament pain or some other ligament stretching pain - lots of different changes down there as the end approaches.

OP here--yeah I guess its hard to know what the baseline was since I cant remember what anything on my body looked like before It is just weird because its on one side only, so it made me wonder, and it "twinges" more than the other ligament-type pain I had.

I noticed the swelling down there about a month ago and freaked out at first because nobody mentioned it in any of the books I'd read. A quick google search told me it was normal.

But, then I also noticed something weird going on down there. I had what I thought was a blood blister that had swollen and popped. Well, I asked my OB about it and turns out it's a varicose vein type thing...on my labia!!

Anyway, the point is that weird things happen down there due to the swelling, so I wouldn't be too worried about it but definitely mention it to your doctor.

By the way, the treatment for my thing was the same as for hemmorhoids...a warm bath or sitz bath. That might help relieve some of the swelling.
