Has your child used Botox for Mild Diplegic CP? Our PT has recommended this, any/all responses are greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance

I think you should talk to a physiatrist or orthopedist about Botox, since they have to prescribe it. We have had it at both CNMC and Kennedy-Kreiger. At CNMC it is given under general anesthesia which I don't think is necessary. KKI it is just given like a shot.
For mild CP, I frankly wouldn't think it necessary. |

| You may want to do a search on the blog world if that is possible because I know I have read at least 1 blog where the person tried it and I don't recall if in the long run they were pleased or not. |
