So I decided to take the bull by the horns the day after my BD earlier this month and join WW online. There is no way I would want to or be able to go to meetings, so I thought this was the next best thing. And so far I have lost almost 6 pounds in 2 weeks just by using the weight tracker app. I have a Lot more to go.
My question is for those who have done the online program, what else did you like about it or use other than the tracker? What features did you find most helpful? One of my disappointments has been that the WW site is all Flash-based, so it is useless on my iPad/iPhone. I am surprised that they haven't fixed this. TIA. |

I tried to do WW online and the first month I did well then stagnated. I joined again but this time I go and get weighed in and it has helped tremendously. There is something about the accountability of going once a week. I sometimes stay for the meetings if I reach a milestone because you get a silly sticker and people clap. It's hokey but it helps motivate me.

Not on the Weight Watchers site, but both skinnytaste.com and skinnykitchen.com have GREAT recipes with the WW+ points already calculated. A good resource for family dinner planning.

Get the WW app for your iPhone. Solves most of the flash issue. Tracking is very easy.
I have a Weight Watchers app on my I pad. I also like the Recipe Tracker. You can enter all the ingredients in the recipe and divide by number of servings and come up with a point value. I do this with the dinners we make most often and save them.
I started WW online 10 days ago. Down four pounds. I love how the activity level must increase as your weight decreases to have the same impact. I just had a very high point breakfast, but now I know it's fruit and salad for lunch to balance things out. So far, so great.
I like that it makes you really think about what you are putting in your mouth. I've tried some of the recipes and they are hit or miss. I love the recipe builder for figuring out how many points a given recipe is. That is a really useful tool. I have the app for my phone too.
