Roe v Wade struck down

The leak had conservatives’ notes and positions. It wasn’t from a liberal law clerk. In all probability it was either Thomas, Mr. or Thomas, Mrs. And that is why Roberts, Coward. has stopped investigating.

Just had lunch with a Republican friend. It was.... illuminating. She brought up the "whole abortion thing." Her arguments were that:
-- her friend had medical intervention by a doctor when the fetus had issues and was incompatible with life, so what's the problem? Yeah, that was 20 years ago. And it was an abortion.
-- her cousin was having a miscarriage and it didn't expel naturally, so no issues, they just gave her a pill for that. Yeah, that was also almost 20 years ago. And it was also an abortion.
-- she fully believes that abortions are happening in the 8th month with no restrictions.
-- she had no idea what a trigger law, or that any had been triggered.
-- sees no issue with gay marriage being under attack since they're completely separate issues.

Republicans are just outrageously misinformed. Hell, I think most people are misinformed about what an abortion is. It's infuriating.

Oooooh … the nefarious “Gen Z”

Roberts 100% knew that the leaker is a Republucan and probably Clarence Thomas himself (directing someone else). The calls for investigation were a distraction from the horror that is the Dobbs decision. I'm sure Roberts wasn't thrilled but he also doesn't really care enough to put himself on the line by outing Thomas.

That's some evergreen content if I've ever seen it.

This is a great message and I commend her for going public with it.

There was a forced birther on this forum just a few days ago saying that it’s not an abortion if the pregnancy is doomed. They really are ignornat.

Lol and then I didn’t catch “ignornat” in my own post.

Yes, but WHY do these people have to actually experience these things in order to comprehend them? Have they no imagination? No empathy?

Honestly? No, but that's precisely why they are Republicans to begin with.

No, none what so ever. I'm related to many of them; no empathy or even sympathy for others until it happens to them--because they think they are the chosen ones and it (whatever it is) will never happen to them.

Unfortunately they all will have to learn this way. And it will be too late for this generation if the GOP women and MAGA women don't wise up.

Rural women have a hard enough time accessing OBGYN care as it is. This is a mess.
