From what I know about DCUM i know that part of the Paterno hate is because he was a staunch Republican.

| I didnt have the foggiest idea about his party affiliation. I daresay most DCUM posters would have been hard pressed to correctly name the team he coached. I think you are rationalizing. 90% of people on this site have never heard of the Nittany Lions. |

Must be a Penn State fan. They think the world revolves around JoePa. Most of us just know him as a famous football coach who heard about child sexual abuse and dropped the ball. In 50 years, that will be the Wikipedia page about him. Not his politics, not his coaching style, not his record, not his cancer. |
