What does the SC vote say about SC Republicans?

I am pretty middle of the road, and have a good understanding of the Republican criticisms of traditional Democratic liberal policies, even when I do not agree with them. And I am no particular fan of Rommey, even though he clearly is very decent person. But, voting for Gingrich is nothing more than a joke.

So...that's all you got? There's already a thread on the SC primary, which was a few days ago.

And Romney's decency isn't at all clear to me or to many others. The only things about him clear to me are his insincerity and narcissistic ambition.

Romney "decent"? Hmmmmm....I do not neccesarily agree with that....verdict is not in yet on that one, IMO.....

Mitt is an establishment pick. Newt is not liked by the establishment. Republican party has changed. Mitt may still come out of this, but people want something different then establishment.

Newt is not liked by anyone. If you need convincing as to why Newt shouldn't make it through the primary.

If anyone knows how a well-known politician can fix an unfavorability to favorability gap of 32 points (yikes!) please let me know. There are a lot of exiled ex-dictators who would like to return to their home countries.

I have not watched the debates in full. Has anyone, candidate or press, called out Gingrich for evading questions by turning his answers into crowd-pandering attacks on someone or otherwise changing the topic?

To answer my own question of 9:55, Jon Stewart did the job of skewering Gingrich: http://www.thedailyshow.com/watch/mon-january-23-2012/indecision-2012---the-gingrich-who-stole-south-carolina

You saw that he's now refusing to participate in debates w/o crowd noise?

What I like about this is that we're still on the upward slope. Whether he drives himself into a frenzy from his success or from desperation, I'm counting on it getting weirder until it culminates in him shouting from the podium, "Fuck you, Mr. Moderator! Fuck you, cameraman! Amiright, everybody?!"

Evangelical hypocrites. Moral majority jokesters. That's what I call SC voters.
